Don’t have a smoker? No problem, just grill it on your grill pan or grill using a grill basket. You’ll still get a great dish.
Smoked Carne Asada Recipe
Ingredients
1.5 pounds sliced Carne Asada (flap or skirt steak)
1/8 cup olive oil
1/8 cup lime juice
1/4 cup El Mexicano Carne Asada Seasoning
Pam spray
Instructions
Combine beef, olive oil, lime juice and seasoning. Marinade for at least 1/2 hour. Drain excess liquid.
Start smoker at 180 degrees. While smoker is warming up, on large cookie sheet, place tin foil and spray lightly with pam. Spread beef on the cookie sheet into an even layer. Put cookie sheet in smoker for about 45 minutes.
At the 45 minute mark, drain the excess liquid and return to smoker, increase temperature to 225 and smoke for another 45 minutes. Remove from smoker and serve.
