I have given many recipes on this website that my family has made over the years at our Sunday Family Dinners. This recipe was made by our Sunday Dinner family friend Corina when she was asked to bring dessert. I think she had an eye on this dessert for a while and was thrilled when she was finally able to make it.
Corina has been part of the family for over 10 years when her parents, who were good friends of my parents, moved to Bolivia. She came to one of our Thanksgiving dinners and then became part of our regular Sunday Dinner crowd. My sister and I grew up with Corina so we’ve been friends for a super long time (I can’t say or that’ll give away our ages!).
So, let’s get back to this dessert she brought. I couldn’t help myself. I had to try it. I just had to then have a little bit more, maybe a little more. It was that good. I couldn’t bring any home or it wouldn’t have lasted until morning.
